The Wooden Statue of Our Lady
During a MIR prayer meeting held at Mtarfa in the evening of the 7 September 2010, Fr Hayden brought with him a wooden statue of Our Lady which he had bought in 2005 from Medjugorje during a pilgrimage. At the end of this meeting, he gave it to Angelik as a gift.
On Friday, 17 September 2010, Fr Hayden went to Angelik’s house to accompany him in prayer during the pain of Christ’s wounds on the cross. As he passed by the statue, he noticed that a liquid was beginning to materialize on the face of the statue. This liquid resembled the oil that seeps from the statue of the Immaculate Conception and other effigies in the house of Angelik. Fr Hayden wiped off the oil but for the duration of his visit, which lasted for about 2 hours, the liquid continued to materialize.
